Manual Application Instructions:

IMPORTANT: For best results, always clean the item first with Nikwax Leather Cleaner. There is no need to dry before waterproofing. Shake well before use. Follow the care label instructions. Wear gloves.

1. Protect your working surface from potential overspray.
2. Spray the clean, wet leather item from a distance of 15 cm.
3. After 2 minutes, wipe off any excess and rub in thoroughly with a cloth.
4. Allow to dry naturally before use.

Note:

For light/colored leather, test on a hidden area first.

Drying:

Let the leather dry naturally at room temperature. Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators or open flames, as rapid drying can cause the leather to crack.

This may be due to surface contamination. First, clean the leather using Nikwax Leather Cleaner™. If the item is new or has been recently waterproofed, cleaning alone may be enough. For more worn leather, apply Nikwax Leather Restorer™ after cleaning to restore Durable Water Repellency (DWR).
